ABOUT
Eddie Seville gained a reputation in the Northeast for visceral live shows and gritty songwriting as the creative force behind the outlaw-rock band Steel Rodeo. These days, he’s a solo artist and occasional bandleader sparking grins, winks and nods in listening rooms, theaters, folk gatherings and festivals.
Driven by unvarnished storytelling, country blues and rock & roll, he’s written songs released on Island, Atlantic and Universal Records, with music aired on three US television networks and HBO. Seville’s catalog of original music spans five full-length albums, two EPs and a dozen singles, as well as songs written for and cut by other artists.
His collaborations include many projects with veteran rock producer Paul Orofino, in addition to writing, recording and roadwork with Frank Carillo (Peter Frampton / Tim Hardin), Augie Meyers (Texas Tornados / Bob Dylan), Danny Miranda (Blue Öyster Cult / Queen) and Simon Kirke (Free / Bad Company).
